| Description: |
i, I'm Bex ( short for Rebecca), and hopefully a lot of stuff has been told above. There is one thing though... well the easiest way of saying it is that I have something in common with a former big brother winner. Big Brother in the Uk that is. Hopefully you can work it out from there cos I really hate having to go into details
I'm artistic, creative & imaginative; when I say artistic, I don't mean that I can draw (in fact I can't draw a straight line); words are my medium. I use prose to create an image in the same way an artist uses paint and paper. My dream would be a published author (so if there are any publishers reading: Hi there! ) and I have great book just sitting here on my computer!
Okay I do seem a bit of a hard nut to crack & I can be demanding and bossy. But I'm totally loyal & if you are brave enough to contact me and we become friends, you'll find that you will have someone in your life that you can depend on, some who really cares about you and your life.....

| About me |
| Where I live |
I have my own flat in a suburban area of South London, Its okay, quite Close to the M25 and trains. To be honest I don't spend a lot of time here... I'm usually out.... |
| Where are you originally from? |
I'm originally from a little village in deepest darkest Hampshire, where I think being anything other than "normal" is still a stoning offence... |
| What is your occupation? |
I work for an Insurance Broker in the City of London... and spend a lot of time at my local non-professional theatre |
| What are your future plans? |
| Your perfect partner |
I suppose I'm looking for a kindred sprit, someone who is brave enough to accept me for who I am, & at the same time has enough in common to make any potential friendship fun. There is nothing worse than meeting someone who you seem to like only to find that the conversation is stilted and embarrassing; you want the earth to swallow you yet your are too embarrassed to walk away. so really I'd like to meet someone around my own age, who is intelligent, has a career and is finacially indepedent. Hopefully you'll enjoy theatre and concerts as much as I do (I still enjoy seeing live bands) but will equally love staying in and watching a DVD. I won't put in a long description of what I hope you'll look like, after all what is the point? People come in all shapes and sizes, but so often it is a spark, an expression, a certain look in the eye, that makes them attractive. Hopefully you will have seen that in me! I'm looking for someone who is single so that we can have time together without other commitments. Whether the relationship we have is friendship or blossoms into something more remains to be seen, but I am seeking something fairly long term. I'm not really concerned with "pasts" (after all I have an "interesting" one); because it is today and the future that matters; the past is history. The only other thing is that I'l like to meet someone who is relatively local to me, that is living in London or the South east. Whilst I have my own home and car, there is no point in meeting someone if you can only see them every now and then becuase distance gets in the way! I know that sounds a bit brutal, but I have tried long distance relationships & they just don't work. So if you in your 30s or thereabouts, live an ordinary life and want to take into your life a girl with a bit of a colourful past, drop me a line; after all you have nothing to lose than the time it takes to write an e-mail |
| Stuff I like |
| What are you interests/hobbies? |
well the Theatre is my prime interest... and it takes up a lot of my time if I am involved in a show. I enjoy cinema, TV etc and I guess all the normal things... |
| Music |
I love 80s music... and I'd love to see what acts from that time which are still playing. My Favorite band is Mostly Autumn- a cross between Pink Floyd and Fleetwood Mac- and they were the last band I saw live. Hope to see them again soon! |
| Your fav tv series |
All sorts really. I don't watch too much telly but I'll always try something someone recommends. I discovered Dexter that way.... which is a cool show if you haven't see it... |
| Your fav books/authors |
I not a big reader anymore.. but like the above if someone suggest something I'll try it. I like thrillers or something with a slightly sardonic twist on life... |
| What sort of movies do you like? |
Allsorts again really... although I'm not a big horror fan.... |
| Types of people you like? |
I don't like people with big egos, or people who don't show respect... |
| Pets |
If I didn't live in a flat I'd have a cat |
| Fav thing |
Oh god... I think its my home actually... this place and I have been through a lot together |
| Fav Place |
The west end of London on a warm summer night... |
| What's your favourite radio station ? |
Either Virgin Radio or Radio 4.... quite a combination |
| What's your favourite tv station ? |
BBC 1 |
| What's your favourite drink? |
I like most alcoholic drinks- though I'm not a "Father Jack"!!! I'm quite happy with a diet coke or Orange Juice & lemonade |
| What's your favourite food? |
L Love italian food! |
| My attitude |
| Family life |
I've been married and had children so I've been there and done it. I do value stability though... and I can't be doing with short term flings |
| Jobs&Working |
I like my job but have no desire to climb on the greasy rungs of the management ladder. Work is important because it funds my lifestyle- I like being independent and self sufficient... |
| Money |
I earn enough to support my life style comfortably so I'm quite relaxed about that. |
| Politics |
I suppose I have some Conservative leanings, I'm definitely Euro sceptic and I think New Labour are well past their sell by date. That said I can remember the last Tory Government and what a mess they made |
