| Description: |
I'm a Taurus, which admittedly makes me fairly stubborn (I can admit it though), but in the same token VERY determined. I absolutely LOVE life and appreciate mine every day. I love laughing, singing, walking in the rain, and music (I write my own songs). I'm really fun to be around and can be very ditzy sometimes! I've been likened to Phoebe from Friends and Poppy from Happy Go Lucky! I'm not afraid to shine in everything I do, and I like filling my time with as many different things and activities as is humanly possible (and as far as my bank account allows me to). Things I can't bear in a person; jealousy, rage, bitchiness (I couldn't be bitchy if you paid me to be - blunt, maybe, but not bitchy), slyness, secrecy, distrust, anger, among many other things. I try not to pay attention to politics as I get very vocal and it generates anger in me, and I always make sure I know my mind on a subject before I engage in a serious conversation about it. Basically I'm very cool! Haha!

| About me |
| Where I live |
I love living in London - it's very different from the small town mentality I come from - no one knows you, anonymity is almost guaranteed, and you can look like crap walking to the shops without fear of bumping into your ex! It's full of different, strange, weird and wonderful people and places and things and habits and trends, and I love the openness and bustle - and the slight air of danger as well |
| Where are you originally from? |
I'm originally from a small village in Hertfordshire |
| Do you want to stay there? |
I can't see myself wanting to move to any other place than London in the forseeable and even far off future - I definitely want to travel, but I think my homebase is London now. However, we never know what is waiting for us just around that corner, so this could all change in the drop of a hat tomorrow! I'm open to change, and open to suggestion and possibilities. I never let one pass me by, that's for sure! |
| What have you done so far? |
Loved bar work - crazy fun and great laughs! |
| What are your future plans? |
I don't believe in planning for the future - partly because I think that sometimes people spend so much time doing so they forget to live in the present and enjoy what they have now, partly because I am too busy doing precisely that - enjoying the present (!), and partly because who knows what will happen tomorrow! |
| Your perfect partner |
I'm not altogether sure whether I'm searching for a long term partner now or not, but if I were to pretend I was, she would have to be easy on the eye (looks aren't everything to me but they are fairly important - I do have the be sexually attracted to someone to be with them; if I'm not it turns into a friendship and that's never good!), she would have to be fun, easy going, determined and focused not just on her immediate surroundings and life but other possibilities out there and always be open to them, strong minded, not afraid to state her view on something, independent and NOT clingy (that's the worst turn off to me), have a good capacity to allow me to live my life independently and how I see fit, an oppurtunity grabber, as easy to watch a movie with as go out clubbing with, affectionate and not afraid of showing that in public, strong and caring. (I don't ask for much do I!!?) |
| Stuff I like |
| What are you interests/hobbies? |
I like dancing, singing, writing music, acting, and I also do a bit of modelling when work comes my way - I love anything where I can show off my talents - performing is what I do best, despite the boring day job (it pays the bills till I make it I suppose!) |
| Music |
Never been to a concert or festival in my life! How terrible is that considering my deep seated love for music! Would love to go to something this summer though for anyone reading this who needs a companion? |
| Your fav tv series |
Friends, Scrubs, anything satirical |
| What sort of movies do you like? |
Comedies! Love funny stuff I do... |
| What kind of people do you find attractive? |
Like I said, looks aren't everything and I can't really specify what I'd like as everyone looks different and you don't know till you meet them I suppose. I think boxing in your preferences means you cut out a lot of possible mates, and I don't like doing that - but if I had to be specific, I do like long hair, although it doesn't have to be long and I don't mind about the colour, I don't mind about the eye colour, and I'm really sorry to all you butch ladies out there, but I don't do butch or soft butch or anything in between - I like lipstick and femme (if I absolutely have to put a label on people) - but not high maintenance! I like slim and slender, I don't like overweight. I know that sounds blunt and rather horrible but if I'm not honest I'll waste peoples time - so sorry if I've offended anybody, truly I am! |
| Food |
I love ALL food - never been fussy, never will be! I like picnics especially, something that I plan on doing one day (if you'd like to join me just send me a message!!) is go to John Lewis food hall on Oxford Street and Notting Hill market, buy french bread, butter, cheese, italian cold meats, olives, and fizzy wine, and have a picnic in Hyde Park - doesn't that sound gorgeous?! |
| Drinks |
I love a good drink, but having said that, don't drink especially heavily. I like a gin and tonic, all colours of wine (but not more than one in one night as I've learnt the hard way in my younger days), and a pint of cold lager or cider on a hot summers day. Love mulled wine around Christmas too |
| Holidays |
I LOVE travelling. So far I've been to Spain, Australia for 3 months, France, Amsterdam, Ireland and New Zealand, and I want to go to all the purported spiritual points in the world, including Machu Piccu and Tibet. Also I'd like to go to SE Asia, North Korea to experience the communist regime firsthand, China, Japan, America (booking myself into New York for this year), Italy, Russia (Great Siberian Railway), and maybe some other weird and wonderful places too. |
| Pets |
I love all animals, especially dogs, and am about to get a rat - very excited! |
| Fav Place |
Ah there's so many! I'd be here typing this damn profile up for days! |
| My attitude |
| Family life |
I think I'd like to settle down eventually and get some routine into my life after living the London life, but I don't know how that may come about. I know that at heart though I am a homemaker so hopefully I'll eventually meet someone who also is! |
| Jobs&Working |
My day job is a means to an end - but my career in performing arts and music definitely - at the moment - means more to me than a relationship - in the music/arts world I'm nearly classed as too old now! |
| Money |
If I had to decide I'd want lots of friends rather than lots of money - money is immaterial to me when it really comes down to the knitty gritty and you can't buy happiness |
| Politics |
I try not to get involved in politics - mainly because I don't understand nearly as much as I'd need to to get into a serious conversation about it - but then if I had to talk about it I'd be honest and make evident my lack of knowledge then just say what I thought anyway (I usually don't hold back!) I'm not single minded on it so if someone were to challenge any views I had I'd think about them with an open mind and independently of any pre conceived views I might already have |
