Description: I'm a third year at Cardiff University studying Journalism, Film & Media.
I openly admit to being a geek; I help run a fansite which has afforded me
some awesome experiences in the world of journalism & I help run a society
in the University comprised of the nerdiest but most fantastic people anyone
could ever hope to meet. I love all aspects of the media, even if I disagree
with a lot of what gets said. I'm the kind of person that doesn't easily get
bored and is content with entertaining themselves. I like people who are
passionate, intellectual, witty and creative. More than anything I love
spending time with my friends & family. I love to talk, although I am ditzy
and forgetful more often than not.

    About me
Where I live I love living in a city. I like being near places to go, especially as I don't
drive. Cardiff is diverse with loads of things to do and see, which is probably
why I very rarely get bored.
    Where are you originally from?
Do you want to stay there? I'd like to travel about a bit, particularly to the States and around Europe,
but Cardiff will always be home, the place where I want to create a permanent
    base.
    What is your occupation?
What have you done so far? Mostly dogs-body stuff; waitressing, filing, archiving and babysitting.
What are your future plans? I don't really have any, which isn't very good. Vaguely, I want to get a job
after I graduate, any job, just to ensure I can afford to live independently.
After that, I'd like to focus on getting into the media, specifically
    television.
Your perfect partner I don't think there is such a thing. Pretending so just puts too much pressure
on yourself and the other potential persons. But if I had to choose I'd like
someone who; believed in the same things I do, had a sense of humour, could
enjoy or at least put up with my geeky hobbies, could get passionate about
causes & politics and be happy staying in cwtching in front of the tv rather
than going out all the time.
    Stuff I like
What are you interests/hobbies? As a media studies student, I'm obviously interested in
television/films/radio/journalism etc... I love going to the cinema, geeking out
with friends, writing, going for food, having both intelligent & mindless
conversations, swearing, dancing to cheesey music and spending time with the
    people I care most about.
Music Anything and everything. I've been to see the Sugababes, All Saints, Westlife,
Franz Ferdinand, Green Day, Sandi Thom & I went to Live 8 in London.
Your fav tv series Doctor Who first and foremost. Followed by Torchwood, Waterloo Road, Friends,
Skins, Moonlight, Pushing Daisies, Heroes, Sugar Rush, EastEnders, Wife Swap,
Gossip Girls, Dawson's Creek, Teachers...I'm a television junkie.
Your fav books/authors Top of the list has to be Harry Potter. Beyond that, I'm also into Philip
Pullman, Garth Nix, Trudi Canavan, Laurell K Hamilton, Tolkien...you get the
    picture :p
What sort of movies do you like? I don't really have a preference when it comes to genre. Just something that
isn't stupid. For example; I recently saw Jumper, which was shit. On the other
hand, I've also recently seen Juno & Definitely, Maybe, both of which I
    loved.
Types of people you like? Those who are open-minded, aren't opposed to liberal amounts of swearing or
laughing, people with something to say and geeks.
What kind of people do you find attractive? People who are intelligent, passionate, kind, warm-hearted, will challenge me
and love me no matter what.
Food My absolute favourite is Chinese. I tend to eat in pubs when I'm out, with
chicken being my preferred food. I like to eat healthily, but not to an
obsessive extent. In other words, I behave myself in the week and let go a
little on Saturday & Sunday. I love cooking, just not when I'm already
    hungry XD
Drinks I never used to be big on alcohol, then I joined Uni and spent loads of money
and time getting wasted. Now I'm starting to realise that it just isn't worth it
99% of the time. I do however love a Black Russian.
Holidays I like holidays where you don't spend the entire time on some beach slowly
baking yourself. I like to explore and learn. So far I've been to Spain, France
and Florida. I want to go to New York, Los Angeles and Venice. I am however
    quite a homebird.
Pets I don't have any pets but I do like zebras and killer whales. I'm not too keen
    on dogs.
Fav thing I try not to covet stuff, but probably my laptop. Followed by my hair
straighteners and my mobile phone. Without which I couldn't possibly survive.
    Fav Place My bed.
What's your favourite radio station ? Red Dragon FM, Radio 1, Kiss FM and Real Radio.
    What's your favourite tv station ? BBC1
What's your favourite drink? Orange Juice, Pepsi, Diet Coke and tea.
What's your favourite food? A roast dinner, with all the trimmings.
What are your favourite activities? I enjoy socialising with friends, pissing about on the internet, blogging,
watching television, going to the pub/cafe/cinema, walking, shopping and
    visiting my family.
    My attitude
Family life I don't think there is such a thing as a traditional family anymore. I do want
children, eventually. I'm not sure I'd want to give up working, though. I'm not
sure whether I'm suited to marriage because although I've enjoyed long-term
relationships, I see the benefit in moving on to new pastures.
Jobs&Working I don't currently have one but I hope I'll be living to work and not working to
live. That's what my parents had to do and something they've always wanted me to
    avoid.
Money I prefer being skint with lots of mates. Money, although useful, cannot make you
    happy alone.
Politics I'm very interested in politics and am a fierce supporter of the Liberal
    Democrats.
